Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – A fire involving five cars and trucks occurred Tuesday early morning in the Juneau Valley, an investigation by Money Town Fire and Rescue and Juneau Law enforcement is underway.

On Tuesday morning at about 5 am, CCFR obtained a report of a automobile fireplace on Alpine Road in the parking lot next to Mendenhall Car. Upon arrival, hearth personnel identified there have been five automobiles in several phases of burning.

Dan Jager, Fire Marshal, stated a person motor vehicle was completely concerned in the fireplace and was setting up to transfer on to the automobiles up coming to it. A fourth auto was affected, and heat was beginning to effects the fifth motor vehicle.
